A few notes:

• More live-action shows than we've ever seen on Saturday mornings in the 80's hit this year, I think it was maybe to fill the coming void of Captain Kangaroo leaving the air :(
• Lots of the shows which have been heavily requested by our members make their debut here, including Kidd Video and Muppet Babies
• To this day I STILL sing the Pole Position theme song when driving really fast and passing other cars :)

I'd almost swear most of the team working on Kidd Video had to be on something hallucinogenic. Still, awesome show.

I'm with you on that one. Also, did you ever think as I did that Kidd's live-action counterpart in the videos looked like Simon Le Bon and Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran had a baby? XD

I didn't really follow Duran Duran, so I didn't compare them at the time. Now that you mention it though... XD

LOL. I have GOT to tell that one to my sister. Kidd Video was her introduction to Duran Duran videos, and she actually became a hard-core Duranie when their popularity was at their nadir. (It was the 90's and we live in Seattle, but grunge rock did nothing for her.)
