Friday Night Preview Show Watch-Along Wrap-Up!

After a somewhat prolonged bit of computer malfunctions (that started in the final 10 minutes of our Watch-Along last week), I can now officially say THANK YOU EVERYBODY for having joined us for the Friday Night Preview Show Watch-Along!

At the height of participation, we had 20 people in the chat room with us enjoying the crazy rambling talk-show antics of "Rowdy" Roddy Piper - NOT TOO SHABBY!

Did anybody see any cartoons previewed that you'd like to see more of? Something to include in the next watch-along on SATURDAY DECEMBER 29TH maybe???

I know what I'd like to see, but I can't get my hands on it. The Puppy's Adventures would be awesome. And maybe one of the ABC Weekend Specials.

Didn't they do a DVD release of the ABC Weekend Specials, as a companion piece to the ABC After School Special box set? There was talk of it back when I was deep in to the Physical Media thing, before I discovered Terabyte USB Portable Hard Drives...

I think just The Secret World of Og got an official release on DVD. There were several VHS releases, though, and as you said, the After School Specials were released on DVD.

God I remember Piper in this old horror flick called THEY LIVE or something like that, where he says " I am here chew bubble gum and kick ass " :P
