This cartoon is a hard one to confirm or deny where it had it's origins - some say it started out in Syndication and then got picked up by CBS for Saturday Morning, others claim that it started on Saturday and then had an extremely quick turn-around in to weekday syndication. Either way, Dennis The Menace was a welcome addition to the Saturday morning line-up that had been sorely lacking in classic comic strip characters :)

I only remember seeing it on weekdays, but it really was a fun show. It's only by the miracle of animation that Mr. Wilson didn't have a heart attack every day. XD
