Every time I see Rude Dog & The Dweebs on a list of 80's cartoons, I want to see it. I've never actually watched an episode, I just want to see if it's really as bad as what my mind has built it up to be in my mind. Those opening credits make me wince in the same way my older brother winces when he sees Bell Bottoms and Afros. It reminds me entirely too much of this:

Anybody even remember Rude Dog and/or The Dweebs? Leave some kind words in the comments below and maybe somebody else will love it enough to vote for it in our Best of 1989/1990 Poll!

lol! now that you mention it, that's so true about Poochie! He totally encompassed all the bs in '90s TV about making everything 'cool.' There were shitloads of oatmeal commercials with guys like that, haha.

I remember Rude Dog and the Dweebs! There was hella school merchandise with him on it, remember back when mead spiral notebooks had pastel-colored pages and rude dog on the cover XD

and I guess your older brother must have cringed at bellbottoms the way I'm cringing now at how for some god-forsaken reason all the horrific, eye-bleeding clothes from the '80s are back!
