Just curious, and it may help sway some decisions we have to make about the next 1980's Saturday Morning Historical Reenactment Society Watch-Along (calm down, it won't be till December at the earliest)...

All of the above. And then on to Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Men In Black, Batman: The Animated Series, Pokémon, Freakazoid, Pinky and the Brain, Road Rovers, Tale Spin, Cartoon Planet, Sheep In the Big City, Jackie Chan Adventures, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo...

...not to mention the old days of Johnny Quest, Speed Racer, Kimba the White Lion, Marine Boy...

...and check the icon. Great cartoons are great cartoons. The year doesn't matter!

OMG, CAPTAIN N! I forgot that was an 80s cartoon; I thought it was maybe early 90s.

I'm probably remembering shows from 1981 from reruns but I remember a lot of them and they feel really familiar to me, so I'm going with '81 as my earliest cartoon year.

ALL OF THE ABOVE and then some from the 70's as well. LOL

I've even been pulling out my DVD sets of the ones avail to re-watch them. *facepalm*

You know, while filling this survey out I noticed that right around when I lost interest in cartoons was right around the great video game crash of '84.

Oddly, I think this was right around the time I started being interested in girls, too. Turning 11 FTW! :P

...then my interest in cartoons picked back up in '89, as the game industry came back to life... right around when I realized high school girls weren't interested in ME. ;)

Suddenly my early years make a lot more sense!!!

In all honesty? I was a youngin'. I remember watching shows during the late 80s (1989) but no earlier. But I do remember being quite attached to the New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (late 80s). I still love all 80s cartoons. :)

But December is soooooo far away OMGZ! :P
Is there anything any of us could do to help out?

Left off '80 cause I was still a little too young to really know what was going on, but I'm sure I was watching at least a few cartoons on Saturday morning.

I think my Saturday Morning experience peaked when they started showing TMNT, but that was in 1990. Maybe X-Men was the last great Saturday Morning Cartoon? By that time I hit high school and Saturday morning became time to sleep. lol :P But there was nothing good on anymore anyway!

I'm too young to have watched most of these shows in their original run. I was born in early 87. So I didn't really watch cartoons until the 90s. But heck, I still watch cartoons. I'll never grow up in that respect. I've got DVD's of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers, DuckTales, Darkwing Duck, and even a Teddy Ruxpin DVD. Yes, Teddy Ruxpin. I loved my Teddy Ruxpin when I was a kid. My sister had a Grubby and a Teddy. I live in nostalgia sometimes.

Twin and I did tactical planning from 1982-1987, but the crop started thinning out in 1988 as Saturday Morning got encroached more and more by news, sports, and Z-grade movies.

I dodn't necessarily watch the ones listed, but I did watch cartoons during the 80s. Unfortunately, my parents limited the whole TV experience--I could only watch a couple hours worth. So I had to pick & choose carefully!

I voted for 1989 even though I did see a few of these in their 'original' run. Original meaning I probably got them at least two years later, once they were dubbed. ;)
