TOMORROW MORNING!!!

I hope you have your Cap'n Crunch and jammies ready because tomorrow morning at 6am PST (and that is not a typo, we really DID find another hour of programming) is our 1980'S SATURDAY MORNING HISTORICAL REENACTMENT!!! Please remember that the entire purpose of this event is to share the love and wonder of Saturday Mornings as it was waaaaaay back in the 1980's. No pausing, no skipping ahead, just a good old-fashioned Saturday Morning where all you do is eat cereal and watch cartoons that you know other people are watching at the exact same time all over the country... maybe even all over THE WORLD!

I'll post the official schedule later today, under a cut (of course) so you can still be surprised by the line-up if you like :)

Along with our regularly scheduled programming, there will of course be all of the commercials and a chat to go along with it all! Tonight would be a good time to go and get some Cap'n Crunch or some Pop Tarts, it's going to be a LONG morning :)

Oh, and don't forget that that you can join in at any time during the watch-along with our "Synch Points" every half-hour :)

Welcome to the December 2010 "Holiday Edition" of the 1980's Saturday Morning Historical Preservation & Recreation Society Saturday Morning Watch-Along! The very next post you see in this community will include all the links you need to get started, and we'll post updates every half-hour for you to join in!

If you've come here expecting to see the links already, you're just a bit early... you can go ahead and check out the chatroom at http://webchat.nightstar.net/ (type in "#saturdaymorning" for the channel and whatever you want for your Nickname). There probably won't be anybody there to chat with for another 5 or 6 hours, but you're welcome to hang out and wait for us till then :)
