Another "I had no idea this existed" cartoon from 1985. They tried to tie this on to the popularity of The Muppet Babies, with live-action Muppet stuff and even an animated "Pigs In Space"... I MUST SEEK OUT THIS SHOW!!!

I never knew this existed anyway but I do know that my childhood is a little sadder for my lack of it. That said, once my niece and nephew are old enough, the indoctrination shall begin and another wave of 80s cartoon fanatics shall begin.

I have absolutely no memories of this one, but Mom says I used to watch it. She believes I blocked it out from the horrible, horrible singing. Since I hated singing puppets.

How strange! I think my own daughter has the same aversion to singing puppets :/

It's an aversion to singing puppets and any happy singing in cartoons as a whole. Mom says I would dive for the remote and put it on mute as fast as I could, even at the age of 3. I think it was Rainbow Brite that caused nightmares.

Maybe no one remembers it because it was really short lived- only aired 3 episodes, thought 18 were made:

This makes me so sad! Mainly because my daughter's name is Molly and she would have loved having a Monster named after her... but at least it looks like Jim Henson himself was the one who pulled the plug on this... if Jim pulled the plug, it must have been terrible :(

I have VERY vague memories of this after watching the intro... I probably saw the first episode and that's it. But I feel like I was probably disappointed that it wasn't about Gonzo. :P
