haha, okay so~

1. I LOVED this show so much. I still remember getting so excited when the opening theme came on, I thought it was the best song ever.

2. I LOVED Skeeter the best and I remember searching and searching for a skeeter stuffed animal or figurine or anything but could never find oue.

3. I was also so sad that Skeeter was not on the muppets and I also went nuts trying to figure out what animals skeeter and scooter were. My brother really liked scooter so we played pretend that we were scooter and skeeter.

4. how funny that back then having a computer was perceived as a nerdy, geeky thing!

5. One thing that was pure cruelty on part of the creators was that you never saw nanny's face. I remember wanting so badly to see her face! Why did they never show it!!

I loved this show for the same reason I love MLP:FIM now -- it's so much better than it had to be!

I mean c'mon, they did a whole episode based on Cyrano de Bergerac. And this was a kids' show???

One of my absolute favorite cartoons growing up as a kid. Hands down, next to Eureka's Castle.

I never forgot this! In fact, I still go back and watch some of the old intros to the cartoons I grew up with on youtube. I hate what's on tv now. Especially what was done to the disney channel and Nickolodeon. As for this show, I think I liked Kermit the best.

Most of my Muppet Babies memories lie in the mid 90s on Nick Jr. That's when I really watched it. But I LOVED it. I love the Muppets in general. But I really loved the Muppet Babies. I love how it always explored their imaginations. I think it kind of paved the way for Rugrats. But regardless, I loved Muppet Babies. :)

I owe this show a huge debt for exposing me to so much pop culture as a kid. The best was when it was on for AN HOUR AND A HALF! My sister and I were always up in time for it, I think I'd have to say this was probably our #1 Saturday Morning Cartoon. We used to record them on BETA tapes, we had at least three or four full tapes. I've seen some of those episodes so many times, to this day I remember them almost perfectly. The "Basement of Doom" one really stands out in my memory. LOL And the various Star Wars ones. The closet was always awesome, I'd love to see someone edit together all of the clips of Gonzo opening the closet into some weirdness. LOL :P

Gonzo was ALWAYS my favorite. He only became that much cooler when I discovered years later how he was inspired by Hunter S. Thompson! :)

Ok here's something weird and random... to this day when I knock on wood, in the back of my mind I always remember Gonzo saying it was to scare off the Wood Weirdos. LOL! If anyone remembers that episode. :P

I LOVED this show! I wish it was out on DVD, but I read somewhere that because of all the different movie clips and things they can't get all the permissions needed. That's a shame because this was SO MUCH BETTER than some of the garbage on TV now. This was also one of the shows that my brother and I equally loved so there was never any fighting about what to watch if Muppet Babies was on.

Perhaps with the new Muppet movie coming out they could put this back on TV for a while in order to bring attention to the movie. I know they did that with the 90s X-men cartoons a while back when one of the X-men movies came out (not the most recent one, maybe it was the third one because it was a long while ago).
