Okay, so some of you may not be aware of just what, exactly, a Friday Night Saturday Morning Preview Show *is*. Saturday morning preview specials were aired on television annually to present previews of each network's fall lineup of Saturday morning children's programming.
Every fall, each network would generally air (or, make available to its affiliates) two preview specials for the fall season—one for their prime-time shows, and another for their Saturday morning schedule. The Saturday morning previews were generally aired on the network in prime-time, usually the Friday night before the new schedule began. If more than one network started their new schedules on the same date, they would have their previews on different nights of the week of the new schedule.

These shows were IMPORTANT TO ME.

I would spend 50-cents each week to buy the new TV-Guide and go through it with a pen, underlining the shows I wanted to be sure and watch. Greatest American Hero, A-Team, Knight Rider... and then Saturdays. TV-Guide was great for letting me know on about 70% of the time if my favorite cartoons were going to be interrupted for some stupid Sport-Ball Game, and this gave me the opportunity to plan accordingly. But what about that first Saturday in September where all the NEW cartoons came on? How could I know if I should watch Monchici or Richie Rich? Would Trollkins be the superior choice? When is Super Freinds on, don't want to miss that!

I watched these preview shows like some sort of forensic scientist looking for clues as to just how much I would enjoy the show. Who's doing the voices? Who did the artwork? Does it look funny or serious? DOES IT HAVE A SCRAPPY-DOO???

Our upcoming 2-and-a-half-hour long mini-event this Friday (you didn't forget, did you?) celebrates these helpful shows in all their glory, complete with commercials :)

SO here in this poll, I have gathered all the official Saturday Morning Preview Shows that the TV-Guide Archives say ever existed (some years the Saturday Morning Preview was just a 4-minute blurb during the Prime-Time Preview Show so those don't count)... which ones are you most interested in seeing?

I'm not going to spoil it for anybody, but I *will* say that we have exactly *one show* from each of the three Networks (ABC, NBC, CBS) that we will be airing, and they are all listed here :)
