Pound Puppies was one of the great "way better than it had to be" TV shows. :) Shame about the new one, tho.

ABSOLUTELY NOT...If anything I would say it enhances it. But their point was,....I was moving on to more mature tastes, yet still watching "kid shows"

'87 was a bit of a barren wasteland, wasn't it? But it also had the second and third seasons of all sorts of great stuff from '85 and '86 which made it a good Saturday :)

That's exactly it. Most of what I watched was already running the previous year. They had so much good content already. Alf and Pound Puppies were my faves from this year.
