saturday_am_80sFeel free to correct me on this, as I'm not about to Google (I feel like Googling stuff in my head, even just to confirm or deny, is like cheating), but I think that the Gummi Bears directly lead to the creation of the beloved Disney Afternoon cartoons? This cartoon was Disney's first attempt at a standard episodic cartoon show, wasn't it? I remember it seeming epic and important because it had the DISNEY name on it :)
