1981 saw the premiere of Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, a cartoon that stuck around for most of the 1980's in one way or another even if they stopped making new episodes in 1983. Nerd fights bore me, just so you know. Heh. However, yeah, as you said, everyone basically wins on this. To have such coordination about her creation, it is impressive, especially pre-internet. Although, I always thought they would have done it at some point, anyway.

The sheer timing of it all fascinated me. Which is why I chimed in. And besides, it gave me an excuse to research Batgirl, so win-win.
