Fan Page: Galaxy High



Galaxy High was one of the most potentially awesome cartoons of 1986, and I wish I had gotten to see more of it... it must have been on opposite of something I thought was even better?

I loved Galaxy High, but it didn't last very long, at least I don't remember it doing so. It was one of my favorite shows.

I think one of the reasons most people don't remember seeing much of this showe is because 1986 was the year that College Football started getting aired nationally instead of just locally, preempting cartoons on CBS more than any other network...

LOVE THIS SHOW!!
I did already comment on this in another post, but the creator & writer of GHS is non other than CHRIS COLUMBUS!! You may know him as the director of HOME ALONE & Harry Potter(he did the first 2 movies)!!

And not only did this get preemted for football, my local station would show a local horror movie w/host show!! I had to go into my attic & use the rabbit ears to get a signal from a OHIO station! (I live in SE Michigan...)

Yep! I remember he got an award for one of the episodes.

This is one of the few I've purchased the DVD for. It's a decent set, if you're thinking about it.
