This is the year where Scooby started getting *weird*. Fred and Velma only made "Guest Appearances", and the monsters were no longer just old dudes in costumes-they were REAL!

I knew there was a Scooby Doo show without Fred and Velma!! Back then I think I used to get them all confused though. I thought all the different shows were just one show. I wonder why Fred and Velma were removed for a while? And replaced with Scrappy for cryin' out loud!! I don't think anybody liked that character. He just didn't fit.
