1980's Saturday Morning Preservation & Recreation Society FRIDAY POLL #7 - Best of CBS 1981

In last week's Friday Poll, it was decided that the best thing on ABC Saturday Morning in 1981 was Super Friends, followed closely by Thundarr The Barbarian which is good, since the_gneech probably would have left a fairly massive rant if Thundarr hadn't come in at least second place :)

Folks, I don't mean to insinuate that y'all are getting predictable or anything, but this is EXACTLY the same way the vote ended for the 1980 ABC line-up!

This week we delve further in to Saturday Morning of 1981 with CBS!

BBRRS was definitely the shining gem in this bunch. I would say Fat Albert would come in a close second if it was the same quality as the 70's episodes, but the quality had dropped significantly by this point. Blackstar was pretty good, but didn't have broad appeal. The Tom & Jerry one was too watered down in this version to make my list. I liked the Popeye & Olive Comedy show as I remember it, but it doesn't come close to the BBRRS. ;)

Agree'd. The King of '81 just might be the same as the king of '80!
