1980's Saturday Morning Preservation & Recreation Society FRIDAY POLL #2 - CBS 1980

Last week we voted on the best ABC Cartoon of 1980 and you all voted THE WORLD'S GREATEST SUPER FRIENDS a the best thing on 1980 ABC Saturday Morning TV, with THUNDARR THE BARBARIAN coming in a close second. This week, we move on to 1980 CBS!

Tom and Jerry for me. Again, didn't watch many of those. Watched Bugs Bunny, but I think it was a pre-80s version.

The Bugs Bunny cartoons on Saturday Mornings in the 80's (and all Looney Tunes for that matter, up till the advent of The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries in 1995) were simple re-bundlings of the enormous Warner Brothers Animation Archives. All though it wa 1980, the newest cartoon you would see on these shows was animated way back in the 1960's.

The Tom & Jerry Comedy Show, though... *shudder*.
