I've finally finished our first year of cataloguing 1980's Saturday Morning line-ups, 1980! Each of these cartoons are tagged as being "1980" because they debuted in September of 1980, meaning that if you remember seeing these cartoons on TV you probably remember seeing them in 1981. Sometimes, TV gets all wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey like that :)

God those shows bring back so many good memories LOL. Those were the days being younger...when I didn't have a lot of worries except to get up early on Saturday, quietly eat sugary cereal and try not to wake my parents up :)

That's what this community is all about :)

The hardest part of Saturday Morning for me was that the cartoons made me REALLY want to play with all my Legos while watching. Do I risk dumping them all out and waking up my parents, or do I just try to quietly shift through the box looking for the right piece??? Or maybe even *gaaaasp* NOT BUILD ANYTHING AT ALL?!?! Buit -but-but what do I do during that dead half-hour when all that's on is Scrappy-Doo, Flintstones and Popeye???

This is why I love our watch-alongs so much, it's a chance to go back and put right what once went wrong :)

Or, on a really lucky weekend, frosted cherry-flavored Pop Tarts! Or when my parents left the Oreos or Chips Ahoy in the wrong spot, I would sneak a couple into my Cap'n Crunch. XD

Oh man, I'm on that special medically-restricted diet right now. I will have to figure out what appropriate food I can eat. No cereal or pop tarts, that's for sure. XD
