Syndication Clarification - I *Meant* to say "Re-Run"

After I hit "Post" on that last one there, it occurred to me that I should clarify; please nominate those cartoons that were an essential part of your 1980's Saturday morning experience, but then you found out later in life that those cartoons were just re-runs of stuff from the 1970's or earlier. We're looking for stuff like The Laff-A-Lympics, Land Of The Lost, Grape Ape... NOT stuff like He-Man, Thundercats or Rainbow Brite.

My bad. Nominate away... there will be a poll about them soon :)

So cartoons like Looney Tunes, The Flintstones and The Jetsons could be nominated? (watched them ALL THE TIME)

Beetle Bailey. Oh MAN. It began broadcast in 1963 and I was watching it in the 70s and 80s.

I have to admit: in my youth I lived by the rule of 'if it's on TV, it must be new'! As far as I was concerned, in the pre-imdb days, everything was 80s. Why I don't know. I watched the really old stuff, like the original Iron Man and Thor, both of which contained very basic animation. For me, that was just a different style.

Preparing a list of shows now.
Also, to this day, I am flabbergasted by how old 'Lady and the Tramp' is. Such high quality animation... from the 50s???
To be continued.

Herculoids!!! And Land of the Lost, for sure!

Other than Looney Tunes, Flintstones, etc, those are the only ones I can think of.
