Please remember, this poll only includes those cartoons that were new or drastically changed in the year mentioned in the poll title. Occasionally it may be necessary to cary a show over to the next year if there is no more room in the poll and/or the cartoon had greater success in the the later years.

A few notes regarding this poll:

• The Lone Ranger cartoon was actually a part of the Tarzan/Lone Ranger/Zorro Hour where they showed reruns of 1970's cartoons.
  
• Don't let the inclusion of Scrappy-Doo deter yu from voting for the very excellent Scooby & Scrappy-Doo Puppy Hour... the other cartoons that were included under the banner of "Puppy" were excellent!
  
• I had never in my entire life heard of Goldie Gold & Action Jack. I feel ashamed :(

Goldie Gold

Ha! I was just talking to my mom about Goldie Gold the other day...I was regaling her with my fangirlish blather about rewatching my Transformers DVDs and she was asking about voice actors. I ended up talking about Peter Cullen (the voice of Optimus Prime) who, unfortunately, voiced a very silly character from "Mighty Man and Yuk". This cartoon was included in a Ruby-Spears show called "Plastic Man and Friends", along with Goldie Gold. I never caught the GG ones; I always seemed to catch the MM&Y ones.

Why this is in my mental Rolodex, I'll never know. But it's there! *g*

All those cartoons they crammed in to the various Plastic Man shows... I miss them all! Mighty Man & Yuck is the one I always wanted to see, but I ended up with... something else? I don't quite remember what it was, it was one of those "Stay tuned till the credits are over... stay tuned through the first commercial break... wait to see which cartoon is isssssssss... IT'S NOT MIGHTY MAN AND YUCK! I can change the channel now!" situations :)

I don't think I ever named a pet after a crtoon character, how odd... I had a puppy named "Fonzie" once, that's close...
