The 90's changed everything with the rampant spread of Basic Cable and Video Tapes. Why wait till Saturday morning when you can just tune in to one of 5 different 24/7 channels that show cartoons or pop in a tape of your favorites? Then DVD and Digital Distribution came along and that was the official END of Saturday Morning as we know it :(
