I have no problems with the variety bit. Plus don't forget shows that were not Saturday morning shows in the US may well have been Saturday morning shows in other countries, so this means you'd be more inclusive!

By the way, is there a US/UK equivalent for the following German website, listing actual TV programme for the main channels by date in the 1980s/90s?
