I made a post about it a lonnnnnng time ago, tracing it back to the saturday movie matinees of the Great Depression. I'll try to find that link somewhere... but this is a community dedicated not to the RISE of Saturday Mornings, but the FALL! The last great golden era of Saturday Mornings!
